We Are A Story Development Company

We believe that everyone has creativity the world is clamoring to see.  Having an idea is easy.  Developing that idea into a story for the Entertainment Industry is hard. In the film industry, many a great idea gets vanquished to “Development Hell”, that purgatory that begins when a story is acquired and ends when principal shooting starts.  Having a story that has traversed the many stages of Development Hell increases the probability a producer will want to acquire your story. That’s where E.T.S. Story Development Company helps. We coach content creators through the stages of development.  From Idea to first draft.  And we provide a forum here for Industry buyers to view your story’s progress, and if interested, reach out to you or your representative for option or sale of your idea.

What we do

BLUF* – E.T.S. Story Development Company links the Veteran Community to the Entertainment Industry. The Veteran Community is underrepresented in Entertainment, the Entertainment Industry requires new content. E.T.S. Story Development Company attacks these two problems by providing Veteran Community Members with assistance developing stories, and by providing Entertainment Industry buyers a marketplace outside the traditional avenues of acquisition.

*BLUF = Bottom Line Up Front

Veteran Community Members

Regardless of your status (actively serving in the Armed Forces, in the Reserves or National Guard, a Veteran, a DoD dependent, a Gold Star Family, a DoD Civilian, a Coast Guardsman), E.T.S. Films has your six.  We exist to assist development of your story into a form that the Entertainment Industry wants to buy.  Story development is hard; the nuances of character and plot and theme, oh my!  How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time.  We walk you through this elephant eating task one small manageable bite at a time.  And if you’re a more experienced writer, we’ll give you that extra set of eyes that you may just need to get your story over the hump.

Industry Professionals

Giving wings to the next great story is what you do.  Finding diamonds in the rough makes you a superstar of your office, and everyone looks to see what you are doing. Supporting Veterans while helping you, the Industry Professional, is what we do here at E.T.S. Story Development Company.  We put in the hard work with the Veteran Community Member to develop the story so you don’t have to.  Less time breaking story means more time to do those business tasks that lead to the red carpet.

"If you get stuck, get away from your desk. Take a walk, take a bath, go to sleep, make a pie, draw, listen to music, meditate, exercise, whatever you do, don’t just stick there scowling at the problem. But don’t make telephone calls or go to a party, if you do, other people’s words will pour in where your lost words should be. Open a gap for them, create a space. Be patient."
